Carin lives outside Boston where she is active in the local schools and libraries.

Nancy Proman

Director of Independent Retail Services

Nancy Proman’s retail career spans over 30 years of department and specialty store soft-lines experience. Nancy brings a wealth of practical knowledge for the small retailer including buying, merchandising, and advertising. 

Formerly a buyer at Dayton's, Nancy  opened her own small chain of maternity clothing stores. Nancy found success as an independent retailer and can do the same for you.

Nancy resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her husband. She has a married daughter and adult son who live out of state. Nancy is a member of Fashion Group International, and serves on the board of a local non-profit. For fun, Nancy enjoys yoga, bicycling, gardening, gourmet cooking, and travel.  

Brian Sullivan

Director of Business Development

Brian Sullivan has experience as a member of leadership teams in retail, finance and real estate. Most recently he was COO of Prosperity Partners, a Florida based financial company.

Brian has voracious appetite for learning and self-development and brings that same energy and passion to his work with DEG clients.

Brian is responsible for all aspects of the speaking and consulting services at Dynamic Experiences Group, LLC. Brian is also a key contributor to the management and leadership programs at DEG.

Brian lives and works in Hobe Sound, Florida where he enjoys spending time with his two children and contributing to the betterment of his communities.

Doug Fleener

President and Managing Partner

Doug Fleener is a veteran retailer with over 25 years of hands-on retail experience with world-class retailers including Bose Corporation and The Sharper Image. He has also owned and operated his own specialty stores.

In his ten years at Bose, Doug grew the Retail Direct Group from four to 100 stores and was instrumental in developing Bose’s unique and engaging retail methods. Under Doug’s leadership, the Bose retail stores became one of the pre-eminent specialty retailers in consumer electronics, known for their highly customer focused approach and multi-media Bose Music Theater Show.

Doug is a consultant, keynote speaker and the author of numerous articles. Doug is also the author of the book The Profitable Retailer. He has been quoted in Entrepreneur magazine, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Shopping Centers Today, and numerous other newspapers and magazines.

As a keynote speaker, Doug turns any meeting into an Experience. His casual style and quick wit make him not just a crowd pleaser but also an incredible motivator, encouraging people to take action and deliver extraordinary experiences to customers and employees alike.

Doug lives in Massachusetts with his wife and two daughters, where in his free time he barbecues while listening to Jimmy Buffet music.

Sharon Tse

Vice-President and Managing Partner

Sharon Tse is a successful performance improvement consultant with over 20 years experience generating results for companies such as Bose Corporation, Borders Group Inc., Coca Cola and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, specializing in customer engagement, consultative selling, management and leadership development.

Sharon has designed, developed and delivered a broad range of custom performance solutions ranging from training programs for individual business units to enterprise-wide initiatives, including the innovative, award-nominated "Customer Focused Development" program.

Sharon's experience in senior management roles along with a background in sales, marketing, communications, public relations and crisis management, give her a unique ability to match human performance solutions with business needs. An exceptional communicator, facilitator and public speaker, Sharon is adept at one-on-one coaching and equally at home in front of 1000+ audiences.

She is a contributing member of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) and the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD). Sharon has lived in New York, Boston, Atlanta and London. An accomplished singer/songwriter, you might also catch her performing original music at local venues in her native Michigan.
